Freely available books on barefoot running
Although barefoot running is best to be learnt by example, e.g. by someone showing you how to actually run barefoot or in minimalist shoes, it cannot hurt to check a book or two on the subject. So far, I've found the following freely available books on barefoot/minimalist running:
- VIVOBAREFOOT's Training Clinic is offering a free book and other very useful materials by barefoot running expert Lee Saxby, download it here: http://trainingclinic.vivobarefoot.com/ It's a short and illustrative introduction to barefoot running problematic with a number od advices how to start.
- The Barefoot running book by Jason Robillard of the Barefoot Running University fame. The second edition is on it's way, while the first edition could be downloaded by following one of the working links from here. At the moment of writing this article, this link works.
- The Beginner's Guide to Vibram Five Fingers by Justin Owings of Birthday Shoes fame is a short guide to Vibram Five Fingers shoes.
